Tasha Brown – Pre-K Lead Teacher
As a native to Northwest Arkansas, I understand the need to acquire a quality educational foundation.  I am a recent graduate of John Brown University, where I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education.  I am a certified teacher in grades PK-4.  Currently, I am enrolled at the University of Arkansas Graduate School where I plan to further my instructional abilities with a Master’s in Educational Technology.  While completing my teaching internship, I was fortunate enough to be placed in a Kindergarten classroom.  I feel the experiences gained from that opportunity and my education will help me build curriculum and corresponding activities to prepare student to enter the school system.  I am appreciative for the opportunity to teach at Just Like Home Childcare and I look forward to working with the students, parents, and staff.

Lakeshia Bealer – Pre-K Co-Lead Teacher
I am excited to be working at Just Like Home, but I am most excited about having the opportunity to teach your Preschooler the skills needed to succeed in Kindergarten and beyond.  I love working with children and my goal is to teach each child through imagination, creativity and play.  As a parent, I understand how important it is to leave your child in a loving, safe and educational environment.  I have been in childcare for 13 years and have worked with children of all ages.  I have my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Kaplan University.  I am CPR and First Aid certified and I have attended Director’s and CCOT training.  I am currently a student at Capella University, majoring in Business Management.  My goal is to make sure you feel confident that your child is being left in the most capable hands possible.  Thank you for allowing me to teach your child in these formative years.

Candi Sabatini – Lead Preschool Teacher
I am Candi Sabatini and I’m very excited to be the new Lead Preschool Teacher.  I have been in childcare for 3 years and teaching has become my passion.  I love how curious and impressionable the children’s minds are.  I have my Child Development Associate’s degree, CCOT and science and math training certificates.  I am married to Rob Sabatini and have a newborn infant, Rhiley.  I feel blessed to be part of the Just Like Home team!

Rita Vangundy – Lead Toddler Teacher
I have been in childcare for almost three years.  I am currently studying to receive my Child Development Associate’s degree through ASU’s northwest Arkansas satellite campus. I have earned my CCOT and CPR and First Aid certificates.  I am married and have two wonderful sons, including Rider who is currently a student in the Pre-K room.  I enjoy my work for the simple fact that I enjoy children.  I love seeing and watch them grow and learn.  Their worlds are new and exciting every minute and I love being a part of it.

Sheri Trimis – Lead Mobile Infant Teacher
I have been working in childcare for the past 14 years, working in both private childcare facilities and within the school system.  I am a mother of five children between the ages of 12 and 19.  Over the years, I have acquired many training hours in childcare including the areas of child nutrition, discipline, teaching sensory and motor skills for infants and toddlers, and safety in the classroom and on the playground.  I have received a diploma in Child Daycare Management and am looking into obtaining my Child Development Associate’s degree.  I have been a Lead Teacher for non-mobile infants, mobile infants and preschoolers.  I really enjoy working with children.  I enjoy watching them grow and learn.  I’ve chosen this career because of my love for children and I love my work.

Samantha Holt– Lead Non-Mobile Infant Teacher
My name is Samantha Holt and I am the new Lead Non-Mobile Infant Teacher.  I have been in childcare for over 14 years and moved to Arkansas from Texas 13 years ago.  I have taken many childcare and child development classes over those years.  These classes include my CCOT, positive guidance classes, and many more.  I am currently in the process of obtaining my CDA and an Associate’s Degree in Business Management with a specialization in Child Development.  I have worked in several centers throughout my career and love working with children of all ages, however, my specialty is infants.  I enjoy watching them go from being completely dependent upon someone for their basic needs to becoming the independent little people that they are.  I enjoy watching children learn and grow.  I am excited to be a part of the Just Like Home Childcare family!
